Founded in 1934, Lallemand Health Solutions is a probiotic manufacturer specializing in the research, development, and manufacturing of ready-to-market and custom probiotic formulations for human health. Our range of ready-to-market Expert’Biotics products are created with our proprietary Lacidofil, ProbioKid, Probio’Stick, and IBacilluS+ formulas. Our custom products ComboCap’Biotics, Smart’Biotics, and Unique’Biotics™ are created with our Harmonium, Lafti or Rosell strains. We have an Applied Research laboratory in France and the Rosell Research Institute in Canada. Our four dedicated probiotic production plants are certified cGMP, Pharma GMP, Health Canada (NNHPD), USP Quality Systems GMP audited (Canada), ISO 9001 and ISO 22000 (France).
We currently manufacture more than 500 unique formulas each year, marketed in more than 60 countries, covering many health segments including Gut Health, Immunity and Natural Defenses, Women’s Health, Stress and the Brain-Gut Axis, Oral Health and Sport.
We offer probiotic strains and blends or custom formulations produced to the highest quality standards. Bacteria production involves unique and complex processes requiring substantial and continuous R&D to fine-tune fermentation, lyophilization, and downstream processing. Moreover, packaging conditions and materials need to be adapted to each strain and formula for best shelf life results possible.
Supported by more than 80 years of expertise in the probiotics field, Lallemand Health Solutions (LHS) has always considered Research & Development as a fundamental value from the very beginning.
As a complete probiotic solution provider, we deliver probiotics of unparalleled quality.
At Lallemand Health Solutions, delivering the best probiotic strains and products is just the start; we make sure each client gets our utmost attention and each project benefits from a customized service plan. On-going support from our committed team is embedded in our values.
