Announcing the 2018 Protein Awards for industry and start-ups

The Bridge2Food Protein Innovation Awards are designed to promote and celebrate industry research and innovation in all sectors, applications and foods related to both animal and plant-based innovations.

This year, Bridge2Food and Village by CA North of France, have joined forces to maximise the impact of the Awards. Village by CA is a network of start-up accelerators set up by Credit Agricole, a leading global bank of French origin, accounting for 500+ start-ups and 400+ corporate, academic and institutional partners.

The Village by CA Awards are highlighting innovation by start-ups* in the area of plant-based only, such as plant-based foods and ingredients, industrial plant-based process and technology, agtech as well as services & solutions.

* Below 2 million turnover and younger than 5 years, and not being part of a larger (multi-national company)

The awards are now accepting entries for the following award categories:

  1. Highest Consumer Impact
  2. Best Plant-Based Food
  3. Best New High Protein Food & Beverage
  4. Most Novel Protein Ingredient & Agtech
  5. Most Novel Protein Process Technology & IT

Closing date for entries is 21 September 2018. An expert panel of judges will select a shortlist from all the entries received. To be eligible the product or campaign must have been introduced or launched after the 1 January 2017
