The findings were the subject of a paper, “Overall skin tone and skin-lightening-improving effects with oral supplementation of lutein and zeaxanthin isomers: a double-blind placebo-controlled clinical trial,” which was published in the journal Clinical, Cosmetic and Investigational Dermatology.

Beautiful Skin Forever was a 12 week double-blind, placebo-controlled parallel study in healthy men and women (ages 18-45 years) with mild to moderate dry skin in which subjects supplemented daily with either a placebo or 10mg of Lutemax 2020.
Lutemax 2020 supplementation resulted in improved overall skin tone, skin lightening/brightening, photo-protection and skin firmness.
