The Bristol facility joins Brenntag's London, Lutterworth and Widnes sites

The Brenntag Bristol distribution site has successfully obtained the BRC Global Standard for storage and distribution, which covers the storage, distribution and wholesaling of ambient, packaged, food grade ingredients, additives and processing aids.

The Bristol site joins Brenntag London, Lutterworth and Widnes sites, which have successfully gone through the auditing process and have been awarded the BRC certifications.

Brenntag Widnes has maintained their A grade certification against the BRC7 Global Standard for Food Safety and the Storage and Distribution Standard for the last 2 years.

Paul Renwick, Quality Manager Life Sciences, said: 'BRC certification gives final recognition of Brenntag's efforts over many years to improve and develop Food Safety and Quality Systems, and the BRC Certification provides the globally accepted validation of the security of our supply chain.'

The BRC certification process continues across the Brenntag UK and Ireland distribution network and food hub sites.
