Clasado strengthens US presence with new commercial appointments

The business has welcomed Dominic Kwiatkowski as Director of Sales North America, and Heather Solomita as North American Sales Manager

Clasado Biosciences ('Clasado'), a global leader in the development of clinically proven prebiotic ingredients and product solutions for the human gut microbiome, has bolstered its North American presence with two key commercial appointments.

The new appointments build on Clasado’s growing momentum in the North American region, where the business supplies its multi award-winning and GRAS approved prebiotic ingredient, Bimuno GOS, to the health and nutrition market.

Dr Frederic Narbel, Vice President of Sales at Clasado, said: “The prebiotic category is gathering pace internationally and Bimuno GOS is shining on the world’s nutrition stage. As we strengthen our foothold in North America, we are delighted to welcome Dominic and Heather to the team. Both bring a wealth of industry experience and a real passion for making microbiome modulation accessible.

By putting science first, we are helping formulators stay on the leading edge of consumer trends by offering a prebiotic ingredient like no other, and the most studied of its kind. Dominic and Heather will be pivotal in helping us to achieve our strategic goals in North America.”

Dominic Kwiatkowki, now appointed as Clasado’s Director of Sales North America, holds a Masters Certificate in Strategic Global and Key Account Management from University of St Gallen in Switzerland, widely regarded as one of the most prestigious business academies in the world. Prior to joining Clasado, Dominic held key commercial leadership roles within the health and nutrition fields, responsible for key accounts and managing global revenue.
