Attendees can learn about the benefits of citicoline, try out cutting-edge nootropic supplements, and discover how Cognizin can help support their mental energy and focus

Cognizin Citicoline, a branded form of citicoline clinically studied to support mental energy, focus and attention, is headed to Austin's 2019 South by Southwest (SxSW) Gaming Expo as interest in nootropics continues to grow in the gaming industry.

Cognizin will be exhibiting at booth #2023 in the PC Arena from 15-17 March, where attendees can stop by and learn about the benefits of citicoline, try out cutting-edge nootropic supplements, and discover how Cognizin can help support their mental energy and focus.

Cognizin will be sponsoring two popular PC games at the event – Hearthstone, an online card logic game, and PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG), an online multiplayer battle royale game. Each PC game will host Cognizin sponsored tournaments for event attendees to participate in. PUBG will kick off their three-hour gaming tournament on 15 March from 3pm to 6pm, with Hearthstone’s to follow on 17 March from 11am to 2pm in the PC Arena.

A recent study supported improved attentional abilities, psychomotor speed and inhibition in healthy adolescent males when supplementing with Cognizin Citicoline

Gamers are also invited to participate in Cognizin’s "Tap to Win" competition at the booth. Competition will be fierce at the SxSW Gaming Expo and gamers will be looking to up their game. A recent study using the Finger Tap Test supported improved attentional abilities, psychomotor speed and inhibition in healthy adolescent males when supplementing with Cognizin Citicoline over a 30-day period (McGlade, et al., 2015). The double-blinded study was conducted by neuropsychologists using a variation of tests which simulated cognitive functions and keyboard actions similar to those exercised in PC videogames (McGlade, et al., 2015).

"We are so excited for Cognizin to take new steps into the gaming industry, especially as consumers are taking more interest in the cognitive benefits of nootropics,” says Elyse Lovett, Senior Marketing Manager at Kyowa Hakko USA, "With research supporting Cognizin's influence on focus, attention and motor speed, SxSW will open new avenues for Cognizin, the nootropics industry and gamers alike – let the games begin!"
