Denk and Eevia expand distribution to three more European countries

Finnish organic ingredient supplier Eevia and ingredient distributor Denk Ingredients have expanded their distribution partnership to Hungary, Romania and Slovenia

The distribution partnership between the two counties is to be expanded into Eastern Europe.

The new territories add to the existing region of Germany, Austria and Switzerland, which Denk Ingredients has held for the past year.

Eevia targets health challenges, especially in the human eye and brain, with bioactive ingredients. Its products come from organic raw materials from the Arctic flora.

Its organic ingredient portfolio is spearheaded by the newly released 36% bilberry anthocyanin, organic chaga extract and wild-certified organic pine bark extract to rival existing non-organic offerings.

The company offers specialised health ingredients from a short and fully transparent value chain.

They are focused on sustainability, wishing to leave minimal impact on Finland’s natural environment. As a result, all parts of raw materials are used.

Eevia feels that this gives them a cost advantage compared with manufacturers who only make a single product from raw materials.

CEO Stein Ulve said: “We have been truly impressed with the professionalism and natural positive energy the people in Denk Ingredients have displayed during the past year."

Eevia and Denk Ingredients will both be at the Denk Ingredients booth at the Biofach organic tradeshow in Nuremberg, 15–17 February.
