ELGi Compressors Europe, a manufacturer of air compressors, has announced its facilities have recently been awarded the ISO 22000 Food Safety Management System certificate.
The company will present its Class ‘0’ certified, oil-free products at the CFIA Expo from the 8th of March, in Rennes, France.
At stand No 3-E32, the company will discuss demanding regulatory challenges regarding quality, safety, and energy efficiency of compressed air in food and beverage manufacturing and packaging applications.
“The consequences of unsafe food can be serious and at ELGi we’re working closely with all food producers to help ensure the safety of their products and the well-being of their consumers,” said Nils Blanchard, Regional Manager, France at ELGi Compressors Europe. “ELGi’s food-grade certified compressed air solutions are designed from the ground up to offer efficient, contaminant-free air to food manufacturing processes. Now, with the ISO22000 certification awarded to our manufacturing plant, we provide our customers with an additional layer of reassurance i.e., ensuring consumers are getting food they can trust.”
The display at CFIA 2022 will include the company’s AB Series of air compressors ranging from 11 kW to 110 kW as well as the traditional oil-free series catering to a broad range of compressed air needs from 45 kW to 450 kW.
The AB Series provides food and beverage manufacturers with reliable, high air purity along with gains in energy efficiency and sustainability, the company claims, at a low total cost of ownership.
