At Vitafoods Europe, Euromed will focus on its new line of evidence-based Mediterranean fruit extracts for healthy ageing. The novel artichoke extract Cynamed joins the already established Mediterranean compounds of the firm: pomegranate (Pomanox), olive (Mediteanox) and fig (ABAlife).
All Mediterranean extracts are obtained through water-only, Pure-Hydro Process technology and are suitable for use in nutritional supplements, functional foods, beverages and pharmaceuticals. In addition, Euromed, which is soon celebrating its 50th anniversary, is the official sponsor of Vitafoods’ Nootropics Summit. During this conference, Andrea Zangara, Head of Scientific Communications & Marketing at Euromed, will highlight issues, challenges and applications for botanical nootropics.
There is mounting evidence that a Mediterranean-style diet may help alleviate physical frailty and cognitive decline in advanced age, and therefore support mental performance and wellbeing.
