The collaboration aims to provide updates on the brain health research on palm vitamin E tocotrienol, and the sustainability practices of sourcing the palm oil in Malaysia.

The Natural Products Expo West (NPEW) 2019 will feature a joint exhibition and seminar between two Malaysian entities. ExcelVite, the company producing palm nutraceutical products and the Malaysia Palm Oil Council (MPOC). The event takes place 5-9 March at Anaheim Convention Center North Halls & Anaheim Hilton

The seminar will be called “Brain Health Research, Vitamin E Tocotrienols and Malaysian Sustainable Palm Oil”.

Jarrow Formulas’ Dr. Thomas Bowman will do a presentation on the brain health research on ExcelVite’s TocoSorb, a palm tocotrienol complex.

The next speaker, Bryce Wylde, will then share his personal experience of sustainable oil palm practices in Malaysia. Bryce went to Malaysia to investigate the palm growing practices and will share his findings.

At NPEW 2019, MPOC will also introduce a new Malaysian Sustainable Palm Oil Certification. The certificate is for a sustainability programme initiated by the Malaysian government.

Bryan See, ExcelVite’s Business Development Manager, said: “ExcelVite is the first and only PIC/S GMP manufacturer in the market for the extraction of palm phytonutrient specifically the palm vitamin E tocotrienol.”

The company passed its second FDA inspection in June 2017.
