GELITA AG: two prizes at once!

The global market leader, GELITA group, produces collagen proteins in 21 plants on all five continents

GELITA, one of the leading global manufacturers of collagen proteins, is delighted to receive no less than two marketing awards.

GELITA won the 'German Brand Award' for successful brand management in the 'Industry Excellence in Branding' category. The prize is awarded by the German Design Council (Rat für Formgebung) and the German Brand Institute. In addition, the corporate film 'You can see' won the renowned 'Intermedia-Globe Award' at the World Media Festival in the 'Public Relations/Image' category.

Building a strong brand is essential for GELITA’s success in business. The German Brand Award acknowledges successful brand management in Germany. Its goal: to discover, showcase and reward groundbreaking brands and brand makers.

The award was initiated by the German Design Council. The prize recognises innovative brands, consistent brand management and sustainable brand communication as well as pioneering individuals and companies in the world of brands.

Prize for successful brand management: Yesterday, the founder of the competition, the German Design Council, awarded GELITA with the 'Industry Excellence in Branding' prize. This is a very special honour, as only companies nominated by the German Brand Institute, its brand scouts and expert committees, are permitted to participate in the competition.

GELITA pursues a clear premium brand strategy throughout the world: 'We are really excited that the GELITA company and product brand are perceived in such a positive way. Along with excellent products and services, a consistent brand strategy is essential for setting standards in the global competitive environment,' said Michael Teppner, Global Vice President of Marketing and Communication at GELITA AG, who accepted the German Brand Award at the official ceremony in Berlin.

Corporate video attracts international attention: Moving images are an important part of GELITA’s brand communication. Creative and technically outstanding was the verdict of the jury at the World Media Festival, the global competition for modern media, on GELITA’s new corporate image film 'You can see.'

The film portrays the wide-ranging applications for gelatin and collagen peptides in a creative way, providing the viewer with a new perspective on the world. As part of the World Media Festival 2016, the renowned Festival for Corporate Film, TV, Web, Web TV and print production, Stephan Ruhm, Marketing and Communications, accepted the 'Intermedia-Globe Award for GELITA at the official awards ceremony in Hamburg.
