GOED hires Global Business Development Director

Becnel served the White House as part of the Advance team, handling foreign visit logistics during the Obama Administration

The Global Organization for EPA and DHA Omega-3s (GOED) has appointed Ashley Becnel as Global Business Development Director. In this role, Becnel will lead business development strategy to help grow the organisation, as well as manage member engagement for more than 160 member companies.

Becnel previously worked for nutrition communication firm FoodMinds, in client acquisition and retention, as well as stakeholder and partnership engagement. She also led business and communication strategies that combined policy, science, thought leadership and media for her clients. Additionally, Becnel served the White House as part of the Advance team, handling foreign visit logistics during the Obama Administration.

“We are excited to have Ashley join our team to invigorate our business development efforts,” said Ellen Schutt, Executive Director of GOED. “We’re looking forward to introducing her to existing members as well as embarking on new areas of growth as the omega-3 industry evolves.”

Becnel will be attending Vitafoods Europe 2022 next week with the GOED team.
