Strong ligaments and tendons, bones, and joints, collectively referred to as white tissue, are an important part of an athlete’s performance

Gelita is set to join the Natural Products Expo West Virtual event. At the event, the company will discuss how its bioactive collagen peptides (BCP) can be used in sports nutrition supplements. Strong ligaments and tendons, bones, and joints, collectively referred to as white tissue, are an important part of an athlete’s performance. BCP supports this tissue and is designed to help build stamina, strength, athletic agility and improve performance.

The range addresses condition specific needs. For body toning and muscle strength, the company offers Bodybalance; for improving bone mass density and supporting bone stability and flexibility, it suggests its Fortibone product and for supporting joint health and mobility, it has introduced Fortigel.

Research has also reportedly shown how important white tissue is for a healthy immune system. These findings have led to an addition to the BCP range, Immupept.

The company will also discuss specific gelatins for softgel, hard-capsule or gummy delivery systems. These systems when and where in the body softgels open to release their fill, provide capsules with reduced cross-linking and longer shelf life, and allow palatable delivery systems in the form of fortified gummies, the company says.

The latest addition to its portfolio is Gelita EC, a gelatin product for true enteric performance of softcaps.

The company’s line-up of gelatins provide fill release performance for soft capsules, including its RXL for reduced cross-linking and improved shelf stability, along with RXL R2 for faster release of the active fill and custom-designed standard gelatins for hard and soft-capsules.
