GreenCoLab expands team at algae research organisation

Jorge Marujo has been chosen join the non-profit private organisation

GreenCoLab has introduced a new member to the team. Jorge Marujo has been chosen join the non-profit private organisation, which is a collaborative platform between research and industry, whose research & innovation agenda is based on the exploration of micro- and macroalgae as an essential component for the food, feed, nutraceutical, bioenergy, wastewater and cosmetic industries.

GreenCoLab recently part of a collaboration with ProFuture and Marbiotech/CCMAR Group. The group collaborated to generate a new, improved Chlorella strain, which was a success.

Marujo holds a Degree in Management from Escola Superior de Gestão, Hotelaria e Turismo (ESGHT)/Universidade do Algarve. He has then developed his professional career over the last 30 years in several business areas such as sales, administrative and management functions.

Currently, Marujo performs administrative and back-office roles at GreenCoLab.
