Healthy fusion snacks all wrapped up with new thin egg tortillas

A new vegetarian alternative to traditional wheat or corn tortilla wraps has been launched into the UK food manufacturing and catering sectors by G Bruce & Co Ltd, a division of Brusco Food Group, a leading British bulk ingredients supplier

The egg tortilla wraps are a high protein, low carbohydrate and gluten-free product that present the ideal opportunity for manufacturers looking to enliven and diversify their food-to-go ranges and offer consumers a convenient way to extend dietary choices.

The ready-made egg tortilla wraps are believed to be the first of their kind to be launched in bulk to the UK market.

Ideally suited for takeaway, quick service restaurants (QSR), food service and other food processors, G Bruce’s square wraps are designed to be a versatile carrier for interesting fillings or can be used as a filling themselves. The ready-made egg tortillas are supplied frozen with 40 wraps per box and 100 boxes per pallet and, once thawed, are easy to handle.
