Ingredia has established a partnership with Valorial, a French agri-food cluster which describes itself as ‘dedicated to collaborative food innovation’. Through the partnership, Ingredia will carry out research and development projects with the assistance and support of the cluster.

The organisation has reportedly supported more than 530 research projects since 2006, with nearly 390 members. Its stated goal is to identify and support collaborative and innovative research & development projects.

Projects approved by the cluster are eligible for public co-funding, and can also access support from members across the network including ADRIA Développement, Breizpack, CBB Capbiotek and CEVA.

Ingredia is also launching a fair-trade organic milk powder sector, in collaboration with Scop Ethiquable and Biolait. The partnership aims to implement production processes that respect animals and nature, while ensuring fair remuneration of breeders, allowing them to maintain sustainable farming practices.
