KD Pharma launches KD Smart DHA
This new KD-Pür product is the cornerstone of KD Pharma’s new high DHA line-up
KD Pharma proudly announces the launch of its specially formulated KD Smart omega-3 oil. It was developed to provide the same average ratio of omega-3 EPA and DHA found in mother’s milk.

DHA is found throughout the body, but most prevalently in the brain and eye retina. Intake of omega-3 EPA and DHA is important because the human body cannot manufacture them. It is needed throughout life to support not only the development, but also the maintenance, of the brain and eye health.
It is particularly critical for both baby and mother during pregnancy and lactation. In the prenatal stage, fatty acids, especially DHA, are in high demand, accumulating in the infant’s brain, the eye retina, and throughout the body as a cellular component.
Studies have shown this build-up is at its most rapid from gestation through to the age of 2. A developing baby’s sole source of DHA comes from its mother, so KD Pharma has specially formulated KD Smart in the 1:4 ratio of EPA:DHA found in mother’s milk.
