Kemin invests in China to become basic in enzyme ingredients

Partnership with CRVAB Bio-technology in Chifeng gives Kemin enhanced fermentation and production capacities

Iowa-based Kemin Industries has teamed up with Chinese CRVAB Bio-technology to further expand the global reach for Kemin in enzyme production.CRAVB is an R&D specialist company with production capacity in animal nutrition and health products.

Headquartered in Chifeng, Inner Mongolia, the partnership will give Kemin access to fermentation and production capabilities to directly control its production of enzymes, provide customers with higher quality solutions and greater consistency in enzyme products.

"With this investment, we will be able to better serve more customers in the global feed enzymes markets and will become basic in enzyme production," said Dr Chris Nelson, President and CEO of Kemin Industries.

"As a company founded on science and innovation to improve lives around the world, we are always searching for ways to create impact and this new partnership allows us to expand into areas like food and textile applications," he added.

Kemin, a global nutritional ingredients company, will have expanded resources for innovations in both single and blended enzymes as well as probiotic product pipelines as Kemin works on a new product portfolio to bring enzyme products to market.
