Dr Jörg Hager, Head of Nutrition and Metabolic Health Unit at the Nestlé Institute of Health Sciences, has been appointed to chair a session exploring the latest developments in weight management at this year’s Vitafoods Europe Conference.

During the session, delegates will hear findings from the EU-funded Full4Health study, which has been investigating the psychology of eating. There will also be a chance to learn about results from Project Satin (SATiety Innovation), another EU-funded study that has been looking at satiety promoting ingredients.

Meanwhile, the conference organisers are delighted to announce that a session addressing healthy ageing will be chaired by the University of Geneva’s Dr Astrid Stuckelberger, who is President of the Geneva International Network on Ageing at the World Health Organisation. The session will include a presentation describing a major healthy ageing research initiative involving a consortium of 30 companies and organisations from 17 EU countries.
