NutriGold, an industry leader in certified organic and Non-GMO Project verified supplements, proudly announces the launch of its Non-GMO Project verified omega-3 fish oils in innovative, next-generation PlantGels — a plant-based vegan softgel made from tapioca.

PlantGels represent a cleaner and healthier alternative to softgels made using carrageenan, bovine, porcine or fish gelatin.

PlantGels help to address existing barriers to Non-GMO Project verification for products encapsulated using animal gelatin because of inherent challenges in verifying the non-GMO status of a source animal’s feedstock.

This launch expresses NutriGold's commitment to the Non-GMO Project in the strongest way possible and reinforces its position as the industry leader in innovative, clean-label products.

When asked about the transition to PlantGels, Osman Khan, COO and cofounder of NutriGold, said: "Our success with PlantGels is the culmination of previously unsuccessful attempts to replace animal-sourced gelatin in our omega-3 products with a plant-based alternative that is not only safer than carrageenan but also meets our exacting purity and safety standards."

Like all NutriGold products, omega-3 fish oils are independently verified to meet purity, potency and freshness standards, so consumers can be confident that what’s on the label is actually in the bottle.

NutriGold’s omega-3 fish oils are

  • Non-GMO Project verified
  • IFOS 5-star certified
  • pesco-vegetarian friendly and Halal
  • Marine Stewardship Council Certified Sustainable
  • made from Wild Alaska Pollack
  • in the highly bioavailable triglyceride form
  • sourced, processed and manufactured in the USA.
