São Paulo hosts the fourth edition of Vitafoods South America

The exhibition and conference takes place at the Transamerica Expo Center and is the main meeting point for everyone wanting to access the nutraceuticals market in Brazil

The business landscape in South America is optimistic, with the nutraceutical industry in Latin America expected to grow at 12.5% per year until 2017 (according to data from Ken Research consultancy).

For everyone focusing on this booming market, the ideal opportunity to find buyers and make valuable contacts is at Vitafoods South America (24–25 March 2015) at the Transamerica Expo Center.

The event, which is in its fourth year, has established itself as the most important meeting place and the main business forum for the functional food and drinks, nutraceuticals and dietary supplements industries.

The exhibition area at Vitafoods South America will feature more than 130 international exhibitors and the event hopes to receive three thousand decision-making visitors from all over Brazil and Latin America.

According to the organizers, 68% of the visitors are senior managers or higher, and 32% have purchasing power of up to $500,000 to spend.

The exhibition also hosts a range of features including the Seminar Theater, with presentations on market trends and innovations; the New Products Zone, featuring the latest products and ingredient innovations launched in South America; and free workshops. Free regulatory advice from global experts, EAS Strategic Advice, is also available.

The scientific and marketing conference is described as a forum for technological development, trends and market insight in the functional foods and dietary supplement sector.

Here, delegates can learn about the key trends, issues, oportunities and the latest research in this exciting market. During the 2-day event, the most influential researchers and industry practitioners in research and development, consumer behaviour and regulations will gather together to debate and share their insight. More than 60 speakers are expected, including more than 30 leading academics and professors.

With the conference and the exhibition, Vitafoods South America is a unique platform for those who want to know more and do business in one of the hottest sectors in Brazil and the world.
