The pump is designed to be used in food, pharmaceuticals or cosmetics
ViscoTec has added a dosing and filling pump to its Hygienic series to accommodate the trend towards smaller portions and larger margins in food production. The vipura-PUMP is designed to be integrated into complete systems.
Its installation space length has been reduced by over 25%, the company claims, compared to pumps with the same dosing capacity. The dosing volume per revolution has also been increased owing to the devices dosing geometry which works with lumpy materials up to 20 mm.
The dosing volumes can be flexibly adjusted, the company says, from 20 to 200 ml or higher depending on the cycle rate. These quantities can be precisely dosed and filled, depending on the application, and matching the specific requirements.
Owing to its size and disassembly options, ViscoTec says, transportation of the machine can be carried out by one person alone if required. Cleaning is accomplished via a CIP connection.
The vipura-PUMP 10T is suitable for dosing and filling various materials: For food and pharmaceuticals, as well as household products and cosmetics. Common applications are tubular bag filling of chunky sauces or marinades, and of pet food or shower gel, detergents, toothpaste, creams, etc.
