Science-based nutraceuticals offer an exciting blend of innovations aimed at addressing health issues using preventive measures.

Although they navigate a complex regulatory landscape, many manufacturers strive to uphold high standards and contribute positively to health and wellness.

However, like many industries, variations in quality assurance can occur, emphasising the importance of consumer education and the need to make informed choices. 

As a result, both regulatory pressure and greater consumer awareness are driving the implementation of pharma-level manufacturing standards for nutraceuticals.

This means compliance with good manufacturing practices (GMPs) and adopting quality by design (QbD) to develop robust analytical methods and, perhaps obviously, science-based validation protocols.
