Nutegrity adds OmegaActiv + PL Blend to portfolio

Nutegrity, a US supplier of fish oil ingredients, has launched OmegaActiv + PL Blend, a combination of the company’s OmegaActiv omega-3 fish oil, the antioxidant astaxanthin and phospholipids, including lysophospholipids, in one ingredient.
The company says OmegaActiv + PL Blend offers numerous advantages, including: high omega-3 content; low saturated fats; high levels of astaxanthin; and high bioavailability.
Nutegrity says OmegaActiv is an ultra-refined, molecularly distilled and highly-purified single source fish oil. It is derived from a vertically integrated process that starts with company-controlled fishing using responsible practices and ends with one of the cleanest and safest marine ingredients on the market today.
OmegaActiv is tested by in-house certified chemists and is scrutinised by third-party laboratories. Each batch passes more than 300 quality check points, assuring safety, purity and stability.
Phospholipids can be found as part of the vital membrane for every living cell in the body; they protect cell integrity and structure. As primary building blocks of the cellular membranes, phospholipids are part of the mechanism that screens and protects cells. Lysophospholipids in particular play an important role in regulating cell fluidity and permeability.
OmegaActiv + PL Blend is available in bulk oil and softgels, delivering more than 150mg of omega-3s, 50mcg of astaxanthin and 180mg of phospholipids per 500mg.
