ThriVexan fully utilises the natural xanthone compounds to help deliver a variety of health benefits

Nutegrity has added ThriVexan Mangosteen Extract to its expanding portfolio of branded ingredients. Naturally harvested from the mangosteen fruit, ThriVexan helps support a healthy inflammatory response and may provide temporary relief of minor muscle pain associated with strenuous activity.

ThriVexan is harvested from the whole fruit including pericarp, fruit and seeds and is standardised to 10% mangosteen. While most mangosteen products are standardised only for alpha mangosteen, ThriVexan is standardised for both alpha and gamma mangosteen content to provide maximum benefits.

'Nutegrity strives to bring unique, science-backed ingredients to our customers and ThriVexan represents our latest superfruit offering for dietary supplement and select food and beverage applications,' said Matt Phillips, Chief Commercial Officer, Nutegrity. 'Mangosteen is one of the world's most powerful superfruits and ThriVexan fully utilises the natural xanthone compounds to help deliver a variety of health benefits.'

Known as 'The Queen of Tropical Fruits', mangosteen contains an impressive array of vitamins and minerals, including a group of compounds in the rind called xanthones. Xanthones have powerful antioxidant properties, and studies and ongoing research indicate that they may provide a number of health benefits including supporting the immune system, supporting intestinal flora and helping maintain cell integrity.
