Azelis acquires French ingredient distributor

Azelis, a service provider to the specialty chemicals and food ingredients industry, has announced its acquisition of Quimdis, a French distributor of ingredients for nutraceuticals, flavours & fragrances and more. The acquisition is aimed to strengthen Azelis’ offering to growing markets, while also enhancing the company’s position in the life sciences sector.

Quimdis specialises in ingredients distribution and formulation development, with a solid position in the French market and sales into more than 45 countries. It complies with Ecocert, ISO 9001: 2015 and ISO 22000: 2005. The company’s 78 employees serve more than 1,000 customers and roughly 400 suppliers.
