AstaReal AB has appointed Mirva Johansson as its new Head of Finance to further develop the company’s financial management as it continues its international expansion.
"We are growing internationally, and the finance function plays an important role in enabling that growth by providing analysis and decision-making support that helps us set the right priorities," says Daniel Flodqvist, CEO of AstaReal AB.
Mirva Johansson holds a master’s degree in Business Administration and has extensive experience in finance, business control and leadership in international organisations. She spent 16 years with a Nasdaq-listed US telecommunications group, with responsibilities at both Swedish and European level. She also has experience from the international pharmaceutical industry and the Swedish food industry.
"My experience has given me a good understanding of what it takes for a company to grow across multiple markets. AstaReal AB is in the midst of an international expansion, and I look forward to contributing with ways of working that can support this," says Mirva Johansson, Head of Finance at AstaReal AB.
As Head of Finance, Mirva is responsible for financial management and reporting, budgeting and forecasting, as well as liquidity planning and risk management.
"My role is to ensure that our financial processes and decision-making support develop alongside the business. The best results come when finance, production, sales and research work towards the same goals and share a common understanding of the business."
After her first months at AstaReal AB, Mirva particularly highlights the expertise and commitment within the organisation.
