The 2nd International Conference on Nutrients (Nutrients 2026) will be held in Barcelona, Spain, from 22 to 24 October 2026, offering a physical platform for exploring the latest advancements in clinical nutrition and connecting cutting-edge research with practical applications.
The conference is chaired by Prof. Dr. Maria Luz Fernandez from the University of Connecticut and Prof. Dr. Luis Serra Majem from the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
The conference will feature six main in-depth discussion topics, including personalized nutrition based on diet-gene interactions, innovations in clinical nutrition, novel dietary recommendations for specific chronic diseases, understanding the role of microbiota in clinical practice, the potential role of AI in clinical practice, and lifestyle and prevention of chronic diseases.

- Prof. Dr. Jaime Uribarri is a professor at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, USA, and editor and co-editor of three influential nutrition science books.
- Professor Ji-Young Lee is Head of the Department of Nutritional Sciences at the University of Connecticut, USA, and has received multiple prestigious awards.
- Prof. Dr. Luis Alberto Moreno Aznar is a professor at the University of Zaragoza, Spain, with research supported by the Spanish Ministry of Health and the European Commission, and is a former president of the Spanish Nutrition Society.
- Dr. Maria Dolores del Castillo is Lead of the Food Bioscience Group at the Institute of Food Science Research (CIAL, CSIC-UAM), Spain.
- Professor Rafael Pérez-Escamilla is UNICEF Senior Scientific Advisor and Director of the Maternal and Child Health Promotion Program at Yale University, USA.
