Oplodex, a new technology platform for food preservation, will be launched this year at Food ingredients Europe. Based on innovative combinations of natural polyphenols endowed with strong antioxidant and chelating properties, the Oplodex range of food ingredients aims to meet industry’s needs and consumer requests.
Tested in several diverse applications, including meat and salt/sweet bakery products, the Oplodex system was found to be particularly effective in enhancing the shelf-life of food products.
The extracts under the Oplodex range are water soluble with high stability to different pHs and temperatures, thus offering a reliable, sustainable and green alternative for food preservation.
