2T Water is a new age beverage company committed to introducing premium beverages that are made with the finest quality of water
2T Water LLC, creator of the first Biotin Water supporting healthy hair, skin and nails, has announced that, with help from the Guidant Funding Group, it has received an undisclosed investment amount in the company.
The capital infusion will strengthen the 2T Water balance sheet and provide financing for an accelerated growth of the newly 'buzzing' product Biotin Water in key regional markets.
Guidant Funding Group is a premier financial firm with a superior track record of fostering economic value for shareholders through the growth and responsible development of the companies it chooses to support.
2T Water was established in 2012 and introduced its first proprietary product Biotin Water in 2014. The company has spent the past year placing the product in key markets such as Atlanta, Chicago and Dallas to gauge consumer response.
Biotin Water is offered in two flavours, Mango Peach and Pomegranate. It delivers 300µg of biotin for hair, skin and nails with zero calories and zero sugars. The product quickly became a requested item in the markets with rapid spins on store shelves.
'We know that biotin has already benefited a large number of consumers and they know the results the vitamin has on hair, skin and nails. Until the release of Biotin Water, the vitamin was only offered in a pill form and at very high doses, which requires the consumption of a lot of water. The problem is that consumers rarely drink enough water to get the full benefits from the vitamin. It was only fitting to produce a formula that included the vitamin as well as the proper water intake. Now retailers can offer Biotin in a refreshing beverage,' said Eric Wells, CEO, 2T Water.
The new capitalisation will help 2T Water drive into the $15bn US bottled water market. The agreement comes almost one year from the prior year's Biotin Water release date. 2T Water has already begun increasing production by adding more SKUs to the Biotin Water line-up, with new flavours Cumber-Melon and Lemon Ginger coming in November.
There will also be a slight reformulation to the product. 'We proved our proof of concept last year, which has brought more investors to the brand. Now we must execute the vision and take it to the next level. It's an exciting time for the brand,' said Eric.
