Published: 14-Mar-2017

Europe’s important trade show for the fine and speciality chemicals industry returns to Munich, Germany, for 2017

Chemspec Europe, the International Exhibition for Fine and Speciality Chemicals, will come to Munich, Germany, from 31 May to 1 June 2017.

Manufacturers, suppliers and distributors of fine and speciality chemicals will showcase their latest products, services and research findings to a dedicated audience of professionals within the industry sector.

Attendees will network with blue chip and SME suppliers from around the globe, covering the whole spectrum of custom, fine and speciality chemicals for various industries, including: pharmaceuticals, food and drink, cosmetics, household and industrial cleaning, water treatment, adhesives and sealants, reprography and printing, colourants and dyestuffs and polymers.

Chemspec Europe 2017 is set to hold a total of 321 exhibitors from 24 countries including the UK, Germany, France, Switzerland, China, India and the USA.

Among the companies exhibitors are: Albemarle, Arkema France, CABB AG, Charles River, Chevron Phillips Chemicals International, Evonik, Johnson Matthey, Kemira Oyj, Lonza, Merck, Solvay, Sumitomo Chemical Europe, Tosoh Europe and Wacker Chemie.

Liljana Goszdziewski, Exhibition Director at show organiser Mack Brooks Exhibitions, said: “Chemspec Europe has evolved into something much bigger than a simple trade exhibition. There is no other industry platform in Europe where you can connect with so many different fine and speciality chemicals manufacturers and suppliers in one place over two days.”

Suppliers for fine and speciality chemicals range from small, privately owned companies to large, diversified chemical enterprises and divisions.

“Some of the highly competitive companies increasingly focus on their core competencies. The emerging niches offer new opportunities for SMEs to operate as specialised sub-contractors, offering clever solutions and services to purchasers and agents looking for specific ingredients or processes,” said Goszdziewski.

Chemspec Europe works with a number of partner organisations to host various free conferences on subjects from regulatory and outsourcing to current market trends and developments.
