Dustcontrol relaunches global range of Good For Food equipment

The range has been extended to include flap valves, suction brushes and flat nozzles

Dustcontrol UK has relaunched its Good For Food equipment range for the food industry, designed to enable a comprehensive source extraction system.

Aimed at the food and drink processing, packaging and pharmaceutical industries, the range now includes stainless pre-separator and filter units developed for the food industry.

Owing to the food industry’s stringent hygiene requirements, the equipment prioritises increased safety, hygiene and cost-efficiency in production.

The relaunched range has been extended to include flap valves, suction brushes, flat nozzles, hose connectors, full stainless tubing system, joints, pre-separator, automatic shutter valves, and stainless steel filter units.

Accessories in the range are antistatic and ESD certified, which means they can be used in ATEX Zone 22, where dust explosions can occur.

The brushes and nozzles are also approved for food surface contact and the system for food transport, being both FDA compliant and the European equivalent.

The brush and accessories are colour coded, with five handle colours and two interchangeable brush colours.

Their material composition makes them detectable via metal detector as well as being autoclavable up to 121°C, allowing for high-pressure saturated steam cleaning.

The range is designed to offer a source extraction system that can be integrated into the production process for recycling, or used as a centralised vacuum cleaning system.

James Miller, MD of Dustcontrol UK, said: "We’re delighted to officially relaunch our Good For Food range, which is now far more than merely brushes. With a wealth of research and development going into the design, we’re excited to see the range evolve into a complete system.”
