Solutex exhibits omega-3 extraction technologies at Vitafoods Europe

The company will highlight the expansion of its CGMP-certified facility, as well as its core portfolio of specialised pro-resolving mediators

 

Solutex, a company specialising in the development of omega-3 extraction technologies, is set to showcase its newly expanded production capacity and omega-3 extraction developments at Vitafoods Europe 2024.

As the company celebrates its twentieth anniversary, it invites attendees to explore the past, present and future of concentrated omega-3 ingredients and specialiaed pro-resolving mediators (SPMs).
 

Optimising omega-3 extraction 

At the show, Solutex will highlight its newly acquired capacity to process crude oil alongside its core portfolio of premium-quality EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) + DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) concentrates – including the industry’s highest-purity 97% EPA specialised pro-resolving Mediators (SPMs).

Following a four-year expansion project at its FDA CGMP-certified facility in Mallén, Spain, the company is now able to process 20,000 metric tonnes of crude fish oil per year.   

At Vitafoods Europe 2024, the company will demonstrate its dual capacity for increased production volumes and greater flexibility to support the growth of the consumer health, supplements and pharmaceutical markets.   
 

20 years of science supporting renewed progress 

In addition to its expanded production capabilities, Solutex is set to celebrate two decades of business at this year’s Vitafoods event. Attendees are invited to join the Solutex team at booth K133, May 14, 2024, at 5pm for a cocktail reception celebrating the company’s 20 years, as well as its latest leap forward with a new product launch.
