Following the recent expansion of its omega-3 concentrate production facilities, GC Rieber Oils has announced new a line of omega-3 concentrates. The expanded factory allows both a doubling of production output as well as incorporating technologies to deliver the company’s highest EPA and DHA ratios to date.
The company has invested in process improvement efforts which have yielded results such as continued lowering of actual total oxidation values and improved sensory characteristics. Additionally, a tracing system has been implemented, accessing all species and other information from catch to finished ingredient.
A range of EPA, DHA and balanced products have been added with the Platinum portfolio. This gives customers the opportunity to choose higher dosages and opens up co-formulation opportunities.
The Platinum range sees VivoMega 8000 TG, which contains 800 mg/g EPA minimum, added to the company’s EPA offering. The balanced products within the Platinum range include 6020 TG and 4535 TG. Options to customize specifications within the range are also available.
“We are proud to announce our new Platinum portfolio, building on the same quality platform our customers have come to depend on,” said Sales and Marketing Director Ståle Søfting.
“Our new technology platform will enable our customers to support the growing trend towards higher dosages and fewer capsules to achieve compliance.”
