The latest ingredient research from Nextin Research by MarketPlace will be shared at the upcoming Mexican Healthy Products Summit in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
Aligned with the healthy living focus of the invitation-only conference and trade show, MarketPlace’s Strategy Director Jake Klinghammer will present “Trends for Him & Her: Women’s Health, Men’s Health, and Tomorrow’s Nutrition Market” at 10 am on 24 January.
“The interest in women’s health during the past few years has led to a renewed interest in men’s-specific health products,” said Klinghammer.
“Our presentation at the Mexican Healthy Products Summit will highlight what women and men want from supplements and functional foods and beverages, from priority need-states to preferred formats and trending ingredients."
"For example, men under the age of 45 are much more likely than women of the same age to incorporate functional mushrooms into their diets."
"Men are also more likely to try to consume more carbohydrates, creatine, vitamin A and ginseng.”
The presentation will draw on Nextin’s Ingredient Trends research, which is based on a survey of 1204 US consumers and will be available for purchase next month.
In addition to presenting key data points, Klinghammer will share strategic, actionable insights for ingredient suppliers, brands and retailers that want to appeal to gender-specific audiences.
Unlike traditional market research that is retrospective, Nextin research includes the data, analysis, and futurecasting insights designed to help innovators in the food, beverage, supplement, and pet industries anticipate what’s next.
Research packages include insights reports, ready-to-use PowerPoint charts and tables and raw data.
