The agreement strengthens Nutriearth’s presence in key European markets and supports food manufacturers seeking sustainable, functional nutrition solutions

Nutriearth has signed a new distribution agreement with Nordmann to strengthen its presence across Europe.

Through this partnership, Nordmann will support Nutriearth in expanding access to N-utra, its innovative natural vitamin D3 ingredient, to local food manufacturers, helping them to develop healthier and more sustainable products that meet consumer expectations for transparency, functionality and natural nutrition.

“With these new partnerships, we are accelerating the global availability of N-utra and strengthening our local presence in key European markets,” said Thomas Dormigny, co-founder and Chief Customer Officer of Nutriearth.

“Nordmann’s deep market expertise and strong relationships with manufacturers make them an ideal partner to help us bring natural vitamin D3 innovation to more consumers across Europe.”

A next-generation source of natural vitamin D3

N-utra is a functional flour made from Tenebrio molitor (the mealworm), naturally rich in essential nutrients such as proteins, B-vitamins, minerals and antioxidants.

Nutriearth’s patented biomimetic method replicates the body’s own synthesis of vitamin D3, making N-utra a natural, sustainable and highly bioavailable source of vitamin D3.

Its proven bioavailability ensures effective absorption by the body, helping to support optimal health.

Manufacturers can easily incorporate N-utra into everyday consumer products to provide consumers with natural and effective vitamin D3, which supports bone and dental health, muscle capital and immune function.

These formulations do not alter the taste, texture, or appearance of the finished products, offering a perfect balance of pleasure and health.

Studies also show that Nutriearth’s vitamin D3 is absorbed up to three times better than lanolin-derived D3 and twice as well as lichen-based D3.

An environmental life-cycle assessment by Sapiologie demonstrated 76.8 per cent lower greenhouse-gas emissions and an eightfold reduction in total environmental impact compared with lanolin-derived D3.

“We are proud to partner with Nutriearth to bring N-utra to our customers across Europe,” said Ulla Seidel, Global Sales Director Life Sciences at Nordmann.

“This innovative ingredient perfectly aligns with our strategy to deliver sustainable and science-driven solutions to the food and nutrition industries."

"With N-utra, we can help manufacturers create products that combine naturality, functionality and consumer appeal.”

Building momentum ahead of Fi Europe 2025

These new partnerships come just weeks before Fi Europe 2025 (2-4 December, Paris), where Nutriearth will present N-utra and Nutra-oil, its natural vitamin D3 concentrate for dietary supplements.

Both ingredients highlight the company’s mission to redefine how vitamin D3 is sourced and integrated into foods for a healthier and more sustainable future.

“With these new partnerships, we are helping food manufacturers develop the next generation of functional products,” added Jeremy Burks, CEO of Nutriearth.

“N-utra makes it simple to enrich everyday foods with natural vitamin D3 and essential nutrients, supporting both consumer well-being and the food industry’s shift toward more sustainable innovation.”
