NutriLeads bets on Yasham Specialty Ingredients to distribute Benicaros in India

This deal further expands the global footprint of the precision prebiotic, which has been shown to boost gut health through microbiome modulation

NutriLeads has extended the footprint of its flagship carrot pomace-derived precision prebiotic, Benicaros, to India through a sales and marketing agreement with Yasham Specialty Ingredients. 

This will expand NutriLeads' presence in the global market, exposing the company to food, beverage and dietary supplement manufacturers across the key Indian market.

NutriLeads has previously expanded the prebiotic's reach into Malaysia, Taiwan, Australia, New Zealand and the EMEA.

Under the terms of the agreement, Yasham will introduce Benicaros to the Indian market, taking over the product's marketing within the region.

The company will also be responsible for the sale of Benicaros within the region.

Derived from upcycled carrot pomace, Benicaros has been proven to enhances the body’s innate immune response and selectively nourishes beneficial gut microorganisms and their metabolites.

It has also been shown to encourage the production of key gut metabolite IPA, as well as reshape the composition of the gut microbiota.

By modulating the gut microbiome, NutriLeads notes that Benicaros can support overall wellness.
