Pleasant Kids reports revenue of US$500,000 for second quarter
Driven by its high alkaline water for kids
Pleasant Kids, a supplier of naturally balanced alkaline water and all natural apple juice for children, based in Burbank, CA, US, has reported revenue for the second quarter in excess of US$50,000, with the majority taken during June. As of 25 July, the company says it had sold more than 53 pallets of its high alkaline water for kids.
Roberto Rico, CEO of Pleasant Kids, said he expected revenue for July to be in excess of $45,000.
'We anticipate that our pallet sales will more than double in the month of August and allow Pleasant Kids to begin to experience exponential growth quarter-over-quarter,' he said.
The company has added Sedanos, a Florida-based grocery store chain, to its group of supermarket partners. Sedanos has 32 locations and has placed a 40-pallet order of the company's high alkaline water, which will be delivered in the coming weeks, said Rico.
Pleasant Kids has begun ramping up production of the product, starting with 200,000 bottles, or approximately 70 pallets.
'We plan to continue weekly production runs that will allow Pleasant Kids to reach its short term goals of selling one million bottles per month and will provide the necessary inventory that will allow us to expedite orders as they come in and allow us operate more efficiently,' added Rico.
Pleasant Kids has recently launched an all natural apple juice, which will shortly be available at supermarket outlets in the US.
