Shaheen Majeed, Global CEO and Managing Director of Sami-Sabinsa Group, will be a featured speaker at the American Council of Independent Laboratories’ (ACIL) 86th Annual Meeting in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
The half-day education session brings together manufacturers and testing laboratories to explore how independent testing supports transparency, quality assurance and consumer trust in the dietary supplements industry.
Majeed will present on “Dietary Ingredient and Finished Product Manufacturer Perspectives on Testing Challenges and Independent Laboratory Partnerships” during the Dietary Supplements Working Group Education Session on Tuesday 4 November 4 at 08:40 MST at the Hotel Albuquerque at Old Town.
As leader of one of the dietary supplement industry’s most recognised ingredient manufacturers, Majeed brings unique insights into the critical relationship between manufacturers and independent testing laboratories.
His presentation will address the real-world testing challenges faced by dietary ingredient and finished product manufacturers and explore strategies for strengthening partnerships with independent laboratories to ensure product quality, safety and regulatory compliance.
“The partnership between ingredient manufacturers and independent testing laboratories is fundamental to maintaining the integrity and safety of the dietary supplement industry,” said Majeed.
“As we introduce increasingly sophisticated ingredients and formulations, open communication and collaborative problem-solving with our testing partners becomes essential."
"I look forward to sharing our experiences and learning from the laboratory community about how we can work together more effectively to meet the evolving demands of quality assurance and regulatory compliance across the supply chain.”
Following his individual presentation, Majeed will participate in a panel discussion at 11:00 alongside all session presenters, including testing laboratory leaders and fellow manufacturers, to facilitate dialogue on shared challenges and solutions.
