Speciality ingredients manufacturer Balchem has announced it is returning to Vitafoods Europe as the official sponsor of "Premium Ingredients for Premium Athletes."
At stand #3F122, the company will showcase its portfolio, which "inspires solutions for everyday athletes who see nutrition as fuel for daily performance and long-term vitality."
Balchem is inviting visitors to the show to experience its portfolio of on-trend ingredients first-hand, with multi-functional supplement samples available at the booth.
Balchem is also set to share a sneak peek of two new ingredients coming soon to the European market: StabiliPro, an excipient portfolio for probiotic-based products and Optifolin+, a unique choline-enriched, patented, bioactive folate (L-5-MTHF) that supports prenatal and women's health, as well as key areas of healthy ageing, such as heart, cognitive and epigenetic health.
An active take on sports nutrition
As more individuals integrate exercise into their daily routines for a healthier lifestyle, sports nutrition is expanding to support a wider audience beyond premium athletes.
Balchem will showcase its latest scientific research on flagship branded ingredients, including a study on K2VITAL for neuromuscular signalling support in older adults, VitaCholine's impact on brain network efficiency post-menopause and OptiMSM's benefits for post-exercise recovery at just one gram per day.
Additionally, as the popularity of creatine continues to grow, the brand will have a focus on Creatine MagnaPower, which combines magnesium and creatine to improve muscular performance.
This shift reflects an industry trend towards active nutrition as a cornerstone of healthy ageing. Balchem states it will also explore incorporating its vitamins and minerals into GLP-1 companion products to aid weight management by addressing nutrient gaps and supporting exercise recovery and cellular health.
"We're excited to be back at Vitafoods Europe, showcasing how we're constantly evolving our portfolio to help our partners respond to evolving wellness trends such as active nutrition, healthy ageing and GLP-1," said Dominik Mattern, VP Science, Business Development and Marketing, Balchem Human Nutrition and Health.
"In Europe's highly regulated market, quality, safety and scientific substantiation are fundamental."
At Vitafoods 2026, we're showing how Balchem helps our partners innovate responsibly — all while unlocking new opportunities thanks to the latest addition to our portfolio.
