The nutraceutical products maker prepares to showcase its latest developments at SupplySide East

ExcelVite, the nutraceutical company based in Malaysia, is set to exhibit at SupplySide East 2019, the trade show taking place in the US on 9-10 April.

At the show, ExcelVite will showcase its flagship branded ingredients EVTene natural mixed-carotene complex and EVNol SupraBio patented and bio-enhanced natural full spectrum palm tocotrienol complex.

2019 marks the 20th anniversary of brain health research on EVNol SupraBio, and the level of research evidence of tocotrienol on neuroprotection continues to increase, from in vitro to human clinical studies for the past two decades.

ExcelVite will share the 20 years’ research data collected from US, Europe and Asia that affirmed tocotrienol’s important role in protecting brain cells from injuries and ageing.

The company will also share research updates of EVTene mixed-carotene complex on vision health, as well as the role of carotenoids in metabolic syndrome.

Brain and cognitive health benefits

For two decades, ExcelVite’s EVNol SupraBio patented and bio-enhanced palm tocotrienol complex has been studied for its brain and cognitive health benefits, from in vitro (where five molecular checkpoints for tocotrienol’s neuroprotection have been identified), moving to in vivo, pre-clinical and human clinical studies.

Bryan See, Business Development Manager, ExcelVite, commented: "Prior to human clinical studies, a ground-breaking 6-year human tissue distribution study (the first in the history of tocotrienol research) was conducted and published to confirm that tocotrienol from EVNol SupraBio supplementation is effectively transported and accumulated in vital human organs including the brain."

Product formulation potential

Age-related macular degeneration (AMD) is now the leading cause of visual impairments and blindness in the United States and elsewhere among people 65 years or older, while the Center for Disease Control (CDC) reported that about 35% of US population has metabolic syndrome. These statistics reflect a natural product formulation potential for EVTene.

Both EVTene and EVNol SupraBio are self-affirmed GRAS, non-GMO, Halal- and Kosher-certified.

“I look forward to meeting with manufacturers and formulators this April at SupplySide East 2019 to share the science and clinical studies on our branded ingredients – EVTene and EVNol SupraBio and to discuss how we can assist in their current projects and future new product development," See concluded.

SupplySide East takes place at Meadowlands Exposition Center in Secaucus, New Jersey. Meet ExcelVite at booth A100.
