OmniActive’s Improving Lives Foundation — the company’s most ambitious corporate responsibility project to date — will officially launch at this year’s SupplySide West show
As part of the foundation’s commitment to bring positive change to communities, customers and consumers, corporate social responsibility is one of the key initiatives.
“OmniActive continues to support farming communities in rural India with multiple initiatives, including health camps and a guaranteed buy-back programme, and now they are taking it to the next level,” said Rushva Parihar, CSR consultant for the OmniActive’s Improving Lives Foundation.
“OmniActive fosters an environment in which farmers, their families and communities can truly thrive.”
OmniActive is focused on improving the health of the small farming communities and promoting gender equality in rural India. The percentage of women who depend on agriculture for their livelihood is as high as 84%.
Through regional community- and school-level nutrition and hygiene programs, OmniActive’s Improving Lives Foundation focuses on several key areas, including
