Saanroo has appointed Viral Shah as Senior Business Development Director, North America, further strengthening its technical and commercial presence across the region.
In this position, Shah will oversee strategic business growth efforts across Saanroo's portfolios, supporting key accounts, emerging brands, and innovative partners in the dietary supplements and functional food and beverage sectors. He will act as a technical-commercial leader in North America, converting scientific data into unique value propositions that connect with brand leaders, marketers, and R&D teams.
Shah brings over 15 years of experience in formulation science, product innovation, and commercial strategy across consumer health, OTC, nutraceutical, and CPG sectors. Recently, he led own brand wellness categories at Walmart, where his leadership was instrumental in driving a proven track record of growth through the launch of hundreds of innovative products across omni-channel platforms. With an MS in Pharmaceutical Science and foundational experience in analytical development and formulation within FDA-regulated environments, Shah offers deep technical credibility along with a proven track record of driving market adoption. Throughout his career, he has collaborated closely with branded ingredient suppliers, CMOs, retail buyers, and cross-functional R&D teams, positioning him to understand both the scientific rigor and commercial realities needed for success in today’s nutraceutical market.
