Custom supplement contract manufacturer WB Blends has announced a new strategic partnership with Yellow Emperor, a custom liquid dietary supplement manufacturer based in Eugene, Oregon.
WB operates as a division of Western Botanicals and is backed by private equity firm The Riverside Company. It is headquartered in a 200,000+ square-foot facility in Spanish Fork, Utah and produces capsules, powders, and liquid supplements for major retail brands.
Yellow Emperor specialises in tinctures, extracts, herbals and other liquid formulations as a Certified Organic Processor operating a cGMP-certified facility.
It brings with it an experienced team, specialised equipment and liquid manufacturing expertise.
The partnership will expand WB Blends' existing liquid manufacturing capacity, technical expertise and production capabilities, which it said would further strengthen its ability to support customers across capsules, powders and now liquids.

The companies said that the existing teams, points of contact, commercial terms and day-to-day operations will remain unchanged. Products will continue to be manufactured in the same facilities under the same cGMP quality systems and certifications, with no changes to any manufacturing processes.
