The incorporation of IMMUSE facilitates the strengthening of pDC functionality, promoting a healthy immune system

Sensilab, a Slovenian dietary supplement manufacturer, has unveiled its latest supplement to support the immune system: IMMUNOFAR Biotic. This product leverages the power of Kyowa Hakko’s IMMUSE, a clinically tested postbiotic designed to comprehensively support the immune system.

IMMUNOFAR Biotic has a 23-in-1 formula, containing vitamins, minerals, amino acids and postbioitc strains, and is available in 17 European markets.

Each sachet provides a convenient and portable dose of essential nutrients, including 5 amino acids, 13 vitamins and 4 minerals, all complemented by the benefits of IMMUSE.

The proprietary immune ingredient is derived from a specific strain of lactic acid bacteria called Lactococcus lactis strain Plasma (LC-Plasma) and it has been clinically tested and shown to be effective in activating immune cells called plasmacytoid dendritic cells (pDCs). These pDCs play a crucial role in the body’s defence against various infections.

The decision to incorporate IMMUSE into IMMUNOFAR Biotic comes from its compelling clinical evidence. There are 30 research publications and 15 human clinical studies which have shown that this postbiotic effectively activates plasmacytoid dendritic cells (pDCs).

By strengthening pDC functionality, IMMUSE enhances immune responsiveness and promotes overall immune health.

“IMMUSE’s robust clinical data and its stability as a postbiotic were key factors in Sensilab's decision to incorporate it into their product formulation,” explained Ritchie, Head of Marketing at Kyowa Hakko. “We believe that this ingredient will elevate IMMUNOFAR Biotic to a new level of effectiveness and provide customers with a comprehensive immune support solution.”
