California-based performance company FRISS has debuted its new clean, precision-dosed caffeine pouches.
The nicotine-free energy pouches are designed for consumers who are "fatigued by sugar crashes, overstimulation and outdated energy rituals."
FRISS said in its release that the pouches would be available in two caffeine strengths – 75mg and 100mg — and a variety of flavours, including the following:
- Fresh Mint
- Espresso Macchiato
- Cola
- Strong Mint
The firm claims that the pouch delivery system provides a controlled release of a precise caffeine dose, helping consumers avoid crashes or jitters that can come with caffeination and promising up to two hours of steady focus.
The pouches are zero-sugar and zero-calorie, containing caffeine, cellulose, salt and water.
Launched to provide a healthier alternative to traditional nicotine pouches, FRISS is also the first international anti-doping-certified and third-party-tested caffeine pouch brand, which it says brings a new level of "trust, rigour and legitimacy to the performance space."
The firm is currently partnering with Ferrari-backed endurance racing team AF Corse USA and six-time Olympic gold medalist Ryan Lochte, reinforcing its role in supporting focus and consistency at the highest levels.
Its Gen Z founder, Abel Santa, says he built the brand to be at the intersection of science and culture, combining research, storytelling and creative direction to help high achievers sharpen their mental edge and take control of their energy in a distracted world.
There is a major shift in how this generation thinks about energy, focus and performance.
"People want something cleaner, sharper and more intentional. FRISS was designed to meet that without compromise."
Pouch usage has seen a sharp rise with the growth of nicotine pouches, with the global market of these worth nearly $7bn in 2025.
Much of this growth has been driven by younger consumers — Gen Z, to be precise — with aggressive marketing and advertising attributed to the shift in nicotine habits.
Caffeine pouch usage is also trending up, with busy professionals, athletes and students using them as portable, calorie-free alternatives to sugary energy drinks and coffee.
Platforms such as TikTok are largely fueling the surge in interest.
