Hofseth recognised at ghp Technology Awards for medical nutrition

34 clinical studies and patents support the company’s bioactive peptide ingredients

Hofseth BioCare has been named Most Innovative Human Medical Nutrition Ingredients Producer in the ghp Technology Awards.

Hofseth’s bioactive peptide ingredients, in addition to its R&D efforts, are credited for the recognition. 34 clinical studies and patents support the ingredients, while 48 health claims from US FDA, Health Canada and EFSA can be marketed with them.

The company converts fresh sashimi-grade salmon byproducts into nutritional ingredients through circular process with zero waste, it says. Ingredients are extracted from fresh salmon offcuts through a patented enzymatic hydrolysis process. End products undergo minimal processing, with no additives, antibiotics or GMO.
