Global nutraceutical innovations showcased at Food Matters Live 2019

As consumer demand for healthy, natural supplements continues to grow, Food Matters Live 2019 brings together the most forward-thinking global innovators in the nutraceutical industry at ExCeL London on 19–20 November

During the two-day event, supported by the UK Council for Responsible Nutrition, visitors will discover the companies introducing some of the most innovative new supplements and nutraceuticals on the market in terms of health claims, functional ingredients, sustainability, efficacy, bioavailability and delivery mechanisms.

Manufactures at the Food Matters Live 2019 Nutraceutical Showcase include OptiBiotix, which has been at the forefront of developing technologies that modulate the human microbiome, and Vitabiotics, whose brand portfolio has some of the fastest-growing supplements in the UK.

Joining them is Lamberts Healthcare, one of the UK's leading suppliers of food supplements to GPs, nutritionists and pharmacists, and Prime Fifty, the only single brand 100% focused on the nutritional needs of the over-50s.

Visitors to Food Matters Live 2019 will also be able to experience first-hand the inventive new nutraceutical products that are being introduced to the market. To address these key questions, Food Matters Live 2019 has invited supplement innovators, nutritionists and industry experts to speak at its exciting seminar programme.

The speaker line-up includes Dr Laura Headley, a nutritional scientist at Evonik Nutrition and Care GmbH, who will be examining how they are boosting omega-3 levels and efficacy through innovative technology. In addition, Dr Aisling Aherne, Nutrition Science Manager at Kerry Taste and Nutrition, will be discussing the role of vitamin K2 in cardiovascular health.

Also, join Samanta Maci, Senior Commercial and Technical Manager at Kemin Human Nutrition and Health, as she looks at how novel algae-sourced ingredients can help to support immune health.

Visitors interested in nutraceuticals won’t want to miss the session with Dr Els van Hoffen, Principal Scientist, Nutrition and Health, at NIZO, as she looks into how manufacturers can substantiate the health benefits of food ingredients to support resistance against infection.
