Layn rolls out new plant based sweeteners at Vitafoods Europe, showcasing first monk fruit in European market with EFSA application

Layn Corp, a specialist in the vertically integrated production of plant based sweeteners, flavours and botanicals, will make an introduction of its SteviUp and Lovia sweetening platforms, and demonstrate its monk fruit sweetener in booth #L161 at Vitafoods Europe 15–17 May, 2018.

Layn is the first to apply for EFSA certification in Europe for this product.

Layn is also rolling out its SteviUp and Lovia sweetening platforms to the European market. SteviUp is Layn’s branded, plant based stevia sweetening platform. Lovia is a blend of stevia and monk fruit.

Lovia incorporates mogroside compounds to prolong the effect of the sweetness and improve the flavour profile of food and beverage products.

While a global company, Layn has a strong presence in Europe with its offices and logistics center in Savona, Italy – a strategic port city providing Layn with access to many successful, large food and beverage facilities in Europe.

Layn is committed to working with industry and governments to help in Europe’s sugar reduction efforts. It is constantly working to develop innovative alternatives in plant-based sweeteners and proprietary sweetener systems.

With more than two decades of application experience with manufacturers in the food, beverage and dietary supplement markets, Layn is the largest high-potency plant based sweetener producer in the industry. Layn provides quality, customised solutions that meet taste preferences, cost demands and regulatory requirements.
