Symrise will present new clinical evidence for skin and digestive health at SupplySide Global 2026, showcasing its Health and Active Solutions and Probi portfolios together for the first time in the Americas. At booth #2364 in Las Vegas, the Care & Wellness division will highlight science-backed ingredients and formulation expertise spanning beauty-from-within, microbiome health and targeted nutrition.
The showcase includes new clinical findings for Rham271h, a postbiotic designed for formulation flexibility, and new digestive health research involving Probi’s LP299V® and LPGOS42 strains.
New evidence for skin radiance
A randomised, placebo-controlled study involving 108 women aged 45 – 60 found that daily supplementation with 600mg Acerowell for 12 weeks significantly improved skin radiance and translucency compared with placebo. More than 80% of participants also reported improvements in skin luminosity, complexion, and texture.
The acerola-based ingredient is standardised and vertically integrated to support consistent quality and traceability. It can be incorporated into powders, gummies and functional beverages – offering manufacturers flexibility when developing beauty-from-within products.
Expanding biotic formulation options
Probi’s Rham271h postbiotic demonstrated how inactivated microorganisms can offer an alternative to live probiotics in product development. Derived from Lacticaseibacillus rhamnosus 6594, the ingredient retains biological activity while its resistance to heat and changes in pH supports a range of applications.
In vitro research indicates effects on immune-related biomarkers, including increased levels of the anti-inflammatory cytokine IL-10 alongside support for gut barrier integrity. With a suggested daily dose of 10bn TFU, Rham 271h offers manufacturers another option for dietary supplements, functional foods and beverages.
Further findings in digestive health
New clinical data for LP299V and LPGOS42 reinforce Probi’s strain-specific approach to digestive health. In an eight-week randomised, placebo-controlled study of 100 healthy adults with occasional constipation, the two-strain combination significantly improved key measures of digestive comfort and regularity, as well as quality of life outcomes compared to placebo.
A post-hoc analysis of participants reporting three fewer bowel movements per week at the start of the study found a significantly greater increase in weekly complete spontaneous bowel movements with the dual strain formulation.
Connecting science with formulation expertise
The joint presence of Probi and Symrise Health Active Solutions brings complementary scientific, ingredient and application expertise to customers across the Americas. Alongside the additional findings, visitors can explore formulation concepts, recipes and taste-balancing solutions for beverages, stick packs and chewables.
The showcase reflects Symrise Care & Wellness’ broader approach to translating research into differentiated health and wellness products, with opportunities spanning women’s health, longevity, digestive health and sports and active nutrition.
